This past winter, Sweet Emma Lou, had the pleasure of planning a Baby Shower for a Special Momma to be. Tianna, of TY Photography, and her husband were expecting their first baby girl and pulled out all the stops to celebrate her arrival.

After Tianna and I spent hours brainstorming and throwing out different ideas , we decided on the theme of Growth. Tianna (whom is an amazing photographer) knows the value of photos, and had documented several steps in her pregnancy and all the photos centered around nature and watching their little girl grow and develop!

As we began piecing all of the details together, most of the items shared the theme of natural, organic, and green. Tianna had already chosen the adorable, With Flair Tea Room, to host her shower and they were more then great to work with! They have delicious items and a huge selection of Tea! I really hope you enjoy these beautiful images by, Tianna herself, of T.Y. Photography!

The Invites played up the floral theme and we added a hand painted Menu Board when guests approached the Tea Room.
Fine Print Calligraphy made each place setting extra unique with beautifully lettered place cards and adorable tags for the favors!

Each Place Setting Featured a potted flower or herb that doubled as the favor for the shower! How adorable are the little tags that went with them!
We added several personal touches to the shower that would be things Tianna could share with Baby Aurora as she gets older. I made this handmade wooden growth chart that easily could transition into the nursery! At the shower, guests adorned it with Love Notes to Baby Aurora.
This is one of my favorite images from the shower of the future parents. So much love in this image!
Guests made their mark with a thumb print tree guest book, and hope that the tree shows Aurora and Mama how many people love them and are here to help her grow. We also gave guests a way to share their advice for the Mama to be, which we hung on a tree made of branches.
It takes a Village to raise a Child, Share your Best Advice for the New Mom.
Now who could forget dessert! I chose to highlight the natural feel of the shower with a dessert table that highlighted wood features, soft colors, and focused on a theme of white. I felt as if white spoke to pureness that a baby represents, such a sweet new life, so innocent and pure. I cannot wait for color to evoke her world, but it made me think, its nice to enjoy them in their beginnings as innocent children.
The Dessert Table Complete with Cakes, Flower Pot Cupcakes, and Cake Pops!
So many details from this Dessert Table, T.Y. Photography always captures everything down to the last Cupcake!
I love using fresh florals on my cakes! They make such a huge statement.
This was one of my favorite aspects to the Dessert table! The Cupcakes were placed in Terracotta Pots to look like little flowers, with a leaf to complete the look!

Baby Aurora Breelynn came into this world just this month and Sweet Emma Lou is so happy for Mama and Baby! She is absolutely beautiful and thank you Tianna for trusting in me with such a special event in your life! We cannot wait to watch her grow!
Thank you,
xoxoxo Emma
