Amazing Details by: Kayla, Meredith, Ellen, Nikki, & Kinsley

I am going to apologize in advance…there are a lot of pictures in this post. I couldn’t help it!! There were so many adorable details from this Baby Shower I had to capture them from every single angle—If you get tired of scrolling, I promise you it will all be worth it. I may be biased—but I hope you feel the same!

This amazing mama to be is family to me, and when she’s having her FIRST baby and it’s an adorable rough and tough little BOY we couldn’t help but get to planning. Thankfully, the dream team of ladies assembled and this amazing shower came together perfectly! This mama loves black and white and going off of some cues from the nursery we started planning! I wanted the decor to be reusable in the nursery if she chose to so it would hold dual purpose!

First comes the Coffee and Cravings Bar! We wanted a bar that any pregnant or non pregnant lady would love to indulge in! The table included some of the mama-to-be’s cravings of chocolate, cookies, cake, and of course donuts! Who can deny donuts?! I had planned those amazing large letter balloons that all the cool Bloggers use—well in the process of blowing them up the first O on DONUTS exploded. I could have cried, but luckily I had a backup and these amazing confetti balloons from papersource.com were amazing!

With the cake trio I wanted to highlight the black and white theme with a touch of metallic! The sequin cake tuned out better than I could ever have imagined! I always love natural elements in my cake design so the fresh flowers are a must in my book!

The table decor included a mix of colors, textures, and the most amazing hand stamped wooden silverware! Kayla painstakingly hand stamped each fork and spoon after we had seen an amazing inspiration picture—and let me tell you it was well worth it!! I loved mixing patterns, it really gives you the biggest bang for your buck! Meredith made the amazing glitter coffee mugs that doubled as favors for the shower! Each were adorned with the most adorable tags that I found on etsy by (DaisyandMePaperCo. ).Sweet Emma Lou

With all the rage of terrariums I knew they would fit our theme perfectly! Each table featured a glass terrarium filled with succulents, fresh flowers, and the most adorable gold painted animals to give it a touch of baby shower!!

The food table featured an amazing Brunch spread with Bagels and Cream Cheese, a Yogurt Parfait bar, and a Waffle Bar. We even had mini waffles with a syrup dipping sauce! We also had the most amazing build your own Sandwich Bar.

These amazing Gold Paper Fans from papersource, were exactly what this space needed to added a little Glam! I get a lot of questions about where I find the items that I use for my parties! My advice is to look everwhere! I found the amazing copper triangle banner in the sale section at Urban Outfitters and everyone was shocked! I wanted her to be able to use alot of the items that I purchased for the party to double as decor in the babies room. Look everywhere when you’re planning an event, you’ll be surprised where you will find inspiration and items for your parties!
We also made a photo booth from a wall hanging and allowed guests to take photos with props and signage!

The Bloody Mary Bar was truly one of the biggest hits at the party! It was really important to reflect parts of the mama-to-be in the decor and style of the shower and if there is one thing I know she loves its Bloody Mary’s. She has been known to sever up a mean one and I know her husband appreciates her skill! We had the “works” and the spread was impressive down the the glittered cups and darling signage. I would recommend a Bloody Mary Bar at any event, it was really fun and all the guests really loved it!

Guests ate, drank, and enjoyed some fun baby shower games and enjoyed watching the mama open gifts and relish in the idea of a rumbly tumbly boy! It was such a joy and I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out! This baby boy was in a hurry and made his entrance early just last week! Mister Kaden Mark we love you dearly and are so happy you made your entrance a little early!

xoxox,
Emma
